A Festival is a day or period of time set aside for feasting and celebration.

It  is also an event, usually staged by a local community, which centers on some unique aspect of that community.

IMPORTANCE:

1- It helps to settle family, union, tribal and other individual disputes.

2- It helps to remember and honour our Ancestors and Heroes.

3- It helps to brings together citizens of the community who have traveled for so long home.

4- It helps to calculate and focus on infrastructural and other development made so far.

5- It helps to present our current problems and development to our leaders for assistance.

6- It helps to educate the youth about their culture.

7- It helps to forgo sorrow thus a joyful and celebration moment.
